Welcome to My Game Design Journey

Welcome to My Game Design Journey

Hello There!

Hi, I'm Ethan, game developer with a passion for creativity and learning. I've created this blog to record my game design journey, reflect on past experiences, and share insights as I continue to grow.

My Journey Begins

From Rusty Skills to Fresh Thrills: My Easter Break in Game Development

The Easter break has wrapped up, and it's back to the usual grind. I've embarked on a small project aimed at expanding my game development skills—exploring new software and tools while refreshing areas where I'm a bit rusty. Over the past two weeks, I've devoted substantial time to game development, though I must admit I didn't accomplish as much of my project as I had initially planned.

Back on the Bullet Blitz Grind (with a minor detour)

Hello again! This past week was quite demanding with university commitments, particularly observations and planning for micro teaches. Naturally, this left less time for my personal projects and learning. However, I made an effort to avoid a “zero percent” day – ensuring I did something productive each day. My primary focus during this limited time was reading the ‘Level Up’ book, though progress slowed considerably since term resumed.
